firSt cLass miSsed/slash/pre-exam

I slowly opened my eyes to see the room where I was. The familiar mess was there, the blue and orange wall enclosing a bunchful of disorganized stuffs. I was in my room. . .

For almost a week, we stayed at my aunt's house. And I almost settled myself at that bright home. We were sent there because of the expected death of my step grandmother. A lot of their relatives came and rooms were needed to accomodate them. As sign of kindness, my room was offered as one. After the busy span of time, now mournings end. Maybe not for my lolo and my auntie, and the rest of their family. But I can say that everything's back to normal.

Released from the small thought, I quickly grabbed my phone to see that it was almost eight. "I can't make it to class", I uttered, convincing myself that it's acceptable to skip classes sometimes.

I end up on our school cafeteria. I decided to review for Math 73, reminiscing the disastrous lec exam that made my head shake last night. I finished one item about Rolle's theorem, then I decided to stop and write.

As I was writing, few persons who I know passed by. Finally, Joy entered the place and joined me in the table where I was. Approximately five minutes of silent sitting, my blockmates came in one by one. Then there's Jan, Ian, and Pat.

So the bloody Math 73 exam preparation begun.
